GETTING THERE

Icefield Helicopter Tours on the David Thompson Highway:
Drive your car north from Lake Louise or south from Jasper to Saskatchewan River Crossing on the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93); turn east onto the David Thompson Highway (Highway 11); continue for 42 km to Icefield Helicopter Tours.

Kananaskis Helicopter Tours on the Trans Canada Highway:
Drive east from Canmore (30 minutes) or west from Calgary (45 minutes) on the Trans Canada (Hwy 1). Kananaskis Heli Tours is located at the Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino at the junction of Kananaskis Trail (Hwy 40).

No Car?
Transportation can be arranged with Martha or with a private charter. Please contact Martha's Heli-Hikes to make arrangements.

Waiver

Your Gear
You will need sturdy running shoes or hiking boots in summer. In winter you will need warm winter boots with good soles - we have a small supply to lend to you. We provide snowshoes, and ice cleats for the canyon walk, or you can bring your own ski equipment for the alpine ski touring. You'll need clothing to keep you warm and dry in all weather conditions -in all seasons!! We will lend you a backpack to carry your lunch and water or hot thermos.

Your Health
Please advise us of food allergies and health concerns, and bring necessary medications. All our guides have current certifications in wilderness first aid and emergency response.

Deposit & Cancellations
Reserve your spot with a $100 non-refundable deposit. We reserve the right to cancel trips due to safety concerns, and we will refund your deposit and make every effort to contact you prior to your arrival. We take Visa and MasterCard.
